About

Cobalt Tiles: a cosy puzzle game about lighting lanterns across a sleeping city. Small details, like the focus styles and empty states, got as much care as the hero.

The whole experience works with a keyboard and a screen reader. The brief was simple: make the work easy to find and hard to forget.

  • Motion is used to explain changes of state, never to decorate.
  • Every page was designed on a strict grid, then loosened where the content asked for it.

The colour system has two themes and meets contrast guidelines in both.
