Every entry is scored on the same four criteria. The weights, the thresholds and the jurors are public, and every award comes with a certificate anyone can verify.
The score
Four criteria, one published formula
Jurors score each criterion from 1 to 10. Members give one overall score. The final score is 80% jury and 20% community.

Honorable mention
A final score and a jury score of 6.5 or more, from at least 3 jurors.

Each night the best honorable mention of the past week in each type is proposed, checked by staff and published in the morning. A day with no eligible work has no winner.

On the 1st the best winner of the day in each type wins the month. People's choice goes to the highest community score among them, from at least 20 votes.

Questions
Before you submit
Can I pay for a better score?
No. Tiers change how fast the review is, how many images you show and where the work is placed. The score comes only from the jury and the community.
Who are the jurors?
Designers and developers invited by staff. Their names and scores are published with every result, and they cannot score their own work.
Who can vote in the community?
Members with a confirmed email whose account is at least 3 days old. One score per work, which can be changed until voting closes.
What happens on a tie?
The work with more jury scores wins; if that is equal too, the one approved first.
Can an award be withdrawn?
Yes, when the work breaks the rules, for example plagiarism. Its certificate then stops verifying.
