Atlas Runner: a cosy puzzle game about lighting lanterns across a sleeping city. Content was written first and the layout followed it.
Images are served in modern formats at the size each screen needs. Motion is used to explain changes of state, never to decorate.
- Every page was designed on a strict grid, then loosened where the content asked for it.
- Pages stay light, so they load quickly even on a patchy connection.
The whole experience works with a keyboard and a screen reader.
