Designing motion that helps instead of dazzles

Animation should explain what changed. Practical rules for timing, easing and reduced motion.

Test with people

We tested each flow with real people before a single pixel was polished. Motion is used to explain changes of state, never to decorate.

Every page was designed on a strict grid, then loosened where the content asked for it. Pages stay light, so they load quickly even on a patchy connection.

Know when to stop

The whole experience works with a keyboard and a screen reader. Content was written first and the layout followed it.

Images are served in modern formats at the size each screen needs. Small details, like the focus styles and empty states, got as much care as the hero.
