About

North Records: bold type, quiet colour and a story told one scroll at a time. Content was written first and the layout followed it.

The colour system has two themes and meets contrast guidelines in both. Every page was designed on a strict grid, then loosened where the content asked for it.

  • Pages stay light, so they load quickly even on a patchy connection.
  • The brief was simple: make the work easy to find and hard to forget.

We tested each flow with real people before a single pixel was polished.
