Vela Gallery: bold type, quiet colour and a story told one scroll at a time. Content was written first and the layout followed it.

The colour system has two themes and meets contrast guidelines in both. The whole experience works with a keyboard and a screen reader.

Images are served in modern formats at the size each screen needs.
Every page was designed on a strict grid, then loosened where the content asked for it.

We tested each flow with real people before a single pixel was polished.

Scores are revealed when voting closes 4 days from now. The jury scores four criteria; your score counts toward the community score.
