About

Harbor Labs: an editorial site where the photography does the talking. Small details, like the focus styles and empty states, got as much care as the hero.

Every page was designed on a strict grid, then loosened where the content asked for it. Pages stay light, so they load quickly even on a patchy connection.

The brief was simple: make the work easy to find and hard to forget.
Motion is used to explain changes of state, never to decorate.

The colour system has two themes and meets contrast guidelines in both.
