Ember Labs: an editorial site where the photography does the talking. We tested each flow with real people before a single pixel was polished.

Images are served in modern formats at the size each screen needs. Content was written first and the layout followed it.

Every page was designed on a strict grid, then loosened where the content asked for it.
Small details, like the focus styles and empty states, got as much care as the hero.

Motion is used to explain changes of state, never to decorate.
