Vela Transit: offline-first notes with a writing mode that stays out of your way. Content was written first and the layout followed it.

Every page was designed on a strict grid, then loosened where the content asked for it. Pages stay light, so they load quickly even on a patchy connection.

  • The brief was simple: make the work easy to find and hard to forget.
  • Motion is used to explain changes of state, never to decorate.

The whole experience works with a keyboard and a screen reader.
