About

Paper Budget: offline-first notes with a writing mode that stays out of your way. We tested each flow with real people before a single pixel was polished.

Content was written first and the layout followed it. Every page was designed on a strict grid, then loosened where the content asked for it.

  • Pages stay light, so they load quickly even on a patchy connection.
  • The colour system has two themes and meets contrast guidelines in both.

The whole experience works with a keyboard and a screen reader.
